Tell me the legend of the Vampire League!

The rules are simple: One person is deemed the vampire, the rest of the league has a draft that the vampire is not invited to. After rosters are final, the Vampire has to make a team with what’s left over on waivers. This sounds like a horrible way to play through a fantasy season, but there is a twist… The NON-VAMPIRE players may not use waivers the entire season, but the Vampire can claim everyone and anyone they wish. PLUS (here is the real plot twist). Any opponent the vampire beats will have to trade a player of the Vampire’s choosing for someone on the Vampire’s team. So if you lose to the vampire that number one RB might get traded for a scrub.

Every Vampire league is different, but here are some rules we enacted that work for us:

• Vampire must trade a player in their starting lineup when swapping players
• Any player on Non-Vampire team is available
• Roster size for all players expanded to replace the picks Vampire would have made and give mortals a fighting chance
