The search for the Treasure of Lombardi

Many years ago we lived in a lawless land of work leagues and Superflexes. There were 16 man leagues, and wild scoring metrics, that would drive a normal man to madness. In the midst of this uncertainty, one man saw a vision. Legend has it he either concocted his idea on a bender in the Bahamas, or in a French prison. In any event, Captain Waldo washed ashore on the Treasure Coast with a plan to gather a crew, commandeer a barrel of rum, and chart a course for fortune and glory. He stumbled from pub to pub muttering about smaller crews and shouting “Death to PPR.” He went missing for a short period of time, but was spotted one fateful August morning with a log book, and a sketch of a silver idol locals have told legends of. Some say it brings wealth and prosperity to it’s holder, while others tell of a dark curse by those who look upon it. In those days, these stories were just myths, but as the Captain would soon prove… the tales were all too real.

2014

The Captains Crew Fantasy League is formed, and the Pirates code is ratified by the original 8 members. Some months later they would find their very first Treasure.

2023

In 2023, the crew left the haven of the Treasure Coast to seek new adventures and treasure, they have been on the move ever since and have chartered a course through rivers and oceans, and explored mountains and valleys, some say they have hidden treasure all over the United States, others claim they go from town to town getting drunk and spending their wealth. Perhaps the truth is somewhere in the middle.

2026

In 2026, the crew turned their sails towards international waters, a storm is brewing in the Atlantic, and this next chapter for our crew will be a tale for the ages.

There have been 12 members over the years. At present, 5 of the original 8-man crew still remain with their ship, including its fearless Captain.
